Culinesse, LLC is seeking an Executive Chef to lead a high-volume kitchen at a prestigious senior living community. You will direct daily kitchen operations, supervise cooks, and ensure top-notch plating and presentation while maintaining strict sanitation standards.

This role requires leadership, extensive kitchen management experience, and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 4+ years of experience as an Executive Chef.
• Contract food service and senior dining experience preferred.
• Able to work nights, weekends and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assure proper sanitation practices and cleanliness of stations and equipment.
• Coordinate with related departments to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Control food costs by maintaining accurate ingredient records.
• Create new menus and implement them properly.
• Supervise cooks and provide training on job responsibilities.
• Direct supervision of day-to-day kitchen operations.
• Ensure plating and presentation standards are met.
• Orient and train employees in the department.
• Prioritize, assign work, and conduct performance reviews.
• Possibly prepare food for a la carte service and special events.
