Firebirds Wood Fired Grill is seeking an Executive Chef to lead the back-of-house team, oversee food production and kitchen operations, and coach staff for consistent quality.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in a high-volume, full-service restaurant as an Executive Chef, with strong leadership and communication skills. This role offers competitive compensation and extensive benefits, including staff development and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years high-volume, full-service restaurant experience in an Executive Chef position.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to coach and train kitchen staff.
• Butchering experience required.
• Scratch kitchen experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages back of house team, operations and food production for the restaurant and FIREBAR.
• Trains and develops Sous Chef.
• Provides direction and training to team members by coaching, counseling and feedback on performance.
• Cross trains team members and expands kitchen knowledge on each station.
• Supervises and participates in butchering and portion control on each shift.
• Creates a positive environment with emphasis on quality food and a clean, organized kitchen.
• Interviews and hires back of house staff to meet staffing goals.
• Orders produce, seafood, and main food items.
• Conducts bi-weekly inventory with the team.
• Works closely with managers in a team-driven kitchen.
