Compass Group USA’s Flik Hospitality is seeking an Executive Chef to oversee kitchen operations, ensuring safe and sanitary practices while directing meal preparation in line with corporate programs. You will lead a culinary team, uphold quality standards, and drive cost controls in a high-volume environment.

This role emphasizes hands-on leadership, menu development, staff training, and collaboration with site leadership to deliver exceptional guest experiences across hospitality settings.

Qualifications

• A.S. or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years progressive culinary/kitchen management experience.
• High volume, complex foodservice operations experience.
• Institutional and batch cooking experiences.
• Hands-on chef experience a must.
• Knowledge of food and catering trends, quality, cost controls.
• Proficient with computers: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet.

Responsibilities

• Plans regular and modified menus according to guidelines.
• Follows recipes, portions, presentation; uses production worksheets.
• Trains kitchen staff in food prep, safety, sanitation and equipment.
• Maintains cleaning and maintenance schedules for equipment and areas.
• Manages inventory to stay within guidelines and ensure availability.
• Decides on leftover food utilization per company guidelines.
• Complies with health and sanitation regulations and audits.
• Follows safety policies and incident reporting.
• Participates in departmental meetings and staff development.
