Job summary

Trilogy Health Services, LLC in Louisville, KY seeks a Director of Food Services/Executive Chef to oversee daily operations, menu development, and adherence to health standards, delivering nutritious meals that enhance residents’ quality of life.

You’ll lead a diverse team, manage staffing within budgets, monitor inventory and costs, and collaborate with Clinical and Environmental departments to uphold high care standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/HSE required.
• 1-3 years of dining leadership experience in senior living or equivalent.
• CDM or CFSM or similar national certification for food service management and safety.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Food Services Department operations and collaborate with Clinical, Environmental, and Life Enrichment teams.
• Complete staff scheduling and coordinate staffing within policy and labor budgets.
• Manage diet and meal preferences, interviewing residents or family members within 24–72 hours of admission.
• Maintain inventory of food, supplies, and equipment; procure as needed.
• Control costs by managing budget and use of spend-down sheets.
