Job summary

Convene Hospitality Group is seeking an Executive Chef at NeueHouse Madison Square in NYC. You will lead a high-volume kitchen, shape the culinary identity, and manage a multi-space operation including members-only dining and private events.

Ideal candidates have a fine-dining pedigree, strong supplier relationships, and a proven track record in large-scale events. This role demands leadership, mentorship, and a relentless drive for culinary excellence.

Qualifications

• Culinary degree or equivalent hands-on training.
• 8+ years progressive culinary/kitchen leadership experience.
• Experience leading a kitchen team of 20+ people.
• Strong private events/banquet program management.
• Proven ability to manage food and labor costs to targets.
• Experience in high-volume, fine-dining operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations across restaurant, lounges, and events.
• Lead end-to-end food production for corporate meetings and conferences.
• Build and maintain relationships with farmers and suppliers for seasonal menus.
• Review Private Event Orders and delegate production tasks across eight floors.
• Design menus with strategic lens, considering member benefits and brand.
