Job summary

The Granville Inn, a historic hotel in Granville, OH, seeks an Executive Chef to direct food ordering, preparation, production, and control for all food outlets and banquet facilities. You will report to the Food and Beverage Manager and/or General Manager, driving quality and consistency across menus and service.

Bring at least 3 years as an Executive Chef or similar role, plus a culinary school background.

Qualifications

• 3 years' experience as an Executive Chef, Exec Sous Chef or CDC, preferably with a full-service property.
• Graduate of an accredited Culinary School program preferred.
• Must have experience at properties of similar size and quality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications is required.

Responsibilities

• Direct food ordering, preparation, production, and control for all food outlets and banquet facilities.
• Directly report to Food and Beverage Manager/Director and/or General Manager.
• Enhance the food product presented to guests and respond to market needs.
• Set margins and manage the business against projections.
• Hire, train, and develop department personnel and exercise discretion per hotel policies.
• Represent the hotel in community and industry organizations and events.
