Job summary

Encanterra® Country Club is seeking a Chef de Cuisine to lead the daily kitchen operations, supervise staff, and ensure exceptional dining experiences across menus and events.

Reporting to the Executive Chef, you will drive high standards in quality, safety, and cost management, while collaborating with venues for weddings and corporate functions. This is a full-time role requiring evenings and weekends, with a comprehensive benefits-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two years minimum experience as a Chef de Cuisine or Kitchen Supervisor or equivalent.
• American Culinary Federation certification preferred.
• Current Food Handlers card.
• Computer literate with Excel and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Plan menus, create purchase orders, ensure food safety and quality.
• Provide recipes and cost sheets for menus and banquets.
• Develop staff and mentor apprentices; conduct reviews.
• Lead kitchen operations, safety, and HR issues.
• Maintain costs and budgets while upholding standards.
