Job summary

Bon Appetit Management Company, part of Compass Group USA, seeks an Executive Chef to lead two cafés and a robust catering operation at Adobe's San Francisco campus.

You will curate menus, mentor a team of ~35, drive culinary innovation, ensure food safety, and partner with clients to elevate dining experiences. The ideal candidate has high-volume corporate dining leadership and a passion for mentoring future culinary leaders.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent education and experience.
• 7+ years of progressive culinary leadership in high-volume environments.
• Experience leading large culinary teams and developing culinary managers.
• Experience in upscale restaurant environments and corporate dining programs.
• Extensive catering and events experience.
• Strong financial acumen with food cost, inventory, labor and budgeting.
• Food safety, HACCP expertise and regulatory compliance.
• People development and coaching skills.
• Knowledge of food trends and menu development.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, inventory systems, and reporting tools.
• ServSafe Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic culinary leadership for two cafés and catering operations.
• Curate and evolve menus and culinary activations.
• Lead and develop a culinary team of ~35 associates.
• Create a culture of coaching, accountability, and growth.
• Partner with operations, hospitality, and client stakeholders.
• Manage food cost, inventory, purchasing, production planning and labor.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and health standards.
• Oversee catering execution for high-profile events.
• Maintain strong employee relations and development opportunities.
• Monitor metrics and drive continuous improvement.
• Stay current on trends and sustainability initiatives.
