Job summary

Bon Appetit is seeking an Executive Chef for a high-volume operation. You will oversee kitchen operations, maintain a safe, sanitary environment, and direct meal preparation in line with corporate guidelines. This role suits an energetic culinary professional with entrepreneurial spirit.

You will plan menus, train staff, ensure compliance with health and safety standards, and manage inventory and food costs while delivering high-quality meals across catering programs.

Qualifications

• A.S. or equivalent experience is required.
• 5+ years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience.
• Extensive catering experience is a plus.
• High volume, complex foodservice operations experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plans regular and modified menus according to established guidelines.
• Follows standardized recipes, portioning and presentation standards; uses daily production worksheets and waste logs.
• Trains kitchen staff in food preparation, safe handling, and sanitation per Company standards.
• Maintains cleaning and maintenance schedules for equipment and work areas.
