Bon Appetit Management Company is seeking an Executive Chef to lead culinary vision and day-to-day kitchen operations at Carthage College. This role requires relocation to the Kenosha, WI area and delivers exceptional dining experiences while fostering culinary excellence, innovation, and team development.

The ideal candidate has experience leading complex food service operations across multiple outlets and concepts, and a track record of developing high-performing teams in hospitality

Qualifications

• Progressive culinary leadership experience within hospitality, food service, catering, hotels, resorts, corporate dining, or similar environments.
• Experience overseeing multiple kitchens, outlets, concepts, or service platforms.
• Proven success leading and developing high-performing culinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the culinary vision across multiple dining venues and platforms.
• Develop innovative menus reflecting seasonality and guest preferences.
• Partner with operational leaders to ensure a consistent guest experience.
• Maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, flavor and execution.
• Drive culinary innovation and best practices for continuous improvement.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and develop culinary managers and kitchen staff.
• Foster an inclusive culture encouraging learning and growth.
• Coach performance and manage succession planning.
• Promote teamwork and a positive work environment.
• Manage food and labor costs, productivity, and purchasing to meet financial goals.
• Analyze operational and financial data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Oversee inventory management, ordering, vendor relationships, and product quality.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Ensure HACCP compliance and health/safety standards.
