Job summary

Bon Appetit is seeking an Executive Chef to lead culinary vision and day-to-day kitchen operations at Carthage College. The role requires relocation to the Kenosha, WI area and delivering exceptional food experiences while fostering culinary excellence, safety, and team growth.

The ideal candidate will have multi-unit leadership experience in complex hospitality settings, build menus, manage food costs, and collaborate with catering and events teams.

Qualifications

• Progressive culinary leadership experience in hospitality, food service, or multi-unit environments.
• Experience leading multiple kitchens/outlets or concepts.
• Proven success developing high-performing culinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead culinary vision across multiple dining venues and platforms.
• Develop menus reflecting seasonality and scratch cooking.
• Control food and labor costs while maintaining quality and guest experience.
• Recruit, train, and mentor culinary managers and staff.
• Collaborate with catering and events teams for special programs.
