Job summary

Eurest USA is seeking an Executive Chef to oversee kitchen operations and ensure safety and sanitation while delivering high-quality meals for corporate dining and executive venues.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, menu development, and adherence to corporate guidelines. Ideal candidates bring strong culinary skills, extensive catering experience, and proficiency with MS Office in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• A.S. or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience.
• Extensive catering experience is a plus.
• Experience in high-volume, complex foodservice operations is highly desirable.
• Hands-on chef experience is required.
• Knowledge of food cost controls, quality, production, sanitation and presentation.
• Proficient with computers; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Internet.

Responsibilities

• Plans regular and modified menus according to established guidelines.
• Follows standardized recipes, portioning and presentation standards; completes production worksheets and waste logs.
• Trains kitchen staff in food preparation, safety, and sanitation per standards.
• Maintains cleaning and maintenance schedules for equipment and areas.
• Maintains inventory of food and non-food supplies within guidelines.
• Decides on utilization of leftover food within company guidelines.
• Complies with health and sanitation regulations and audits.
• Follows safety policies and participates in meetings and development programs.
