Job summary

Gourmet Dining is seeking an Executive Chef to lead culinary operations for a premier campus dining program in the New York region. You will provide strategic leadership, hands-on support, and creative menu development to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

As part of Gourmet Dining within Compass Group USA, you will oversee food quality, safety, and operational excellence while mentoring a talented culinary team in a dynamic, high-volume environment across multiple campuses.

Qualifications

• Culinary degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of progressive culinary management experience.
• Proven success in high‑volume dining, foodservice, or catering environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all culinary operations for a designated dining account, providing strategic leadership and hands-on support.
• Create and execute diverse, innovative menus reflecting current trends.
• Manage food and labor costs while maintaining quality standards.
• Purchase products, oversee inventory, and ensure efficient resource use.
• Drive new culinary initiatives and collaborate with marketing and operations teams.
