Compass Group USA is seeking an Executive Chef for a premium airline lounge in San Francisco. You will oversee kitchen operations, direct meal preparation, and ensure adherence to corporate programs and guidelines.

Experience in Asian/Cantonese cuisine is required, with strong leadership in high‑volume, hospitality‑driven environments. Culinary expertise in premium airline lounges is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have A.S. or equivalent experience.
• Experience in Asian, Cantonese, or Chinese cuisine is required.
• Minimum 3–5 years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience.
• Hands-on chef experience is required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Responsibilities

• Plans regular and modified menus per guidelines.
• Follows recipes, portions, and presentation standards; uses production worksheets.
• Trains kitchen staff in food prep, safety, and sanitation.
• Maintains cleaning schedules for equipment and work areas.
• Manages inventory to stay within guidelines and ensure availability.
• Decides on leftover food utilization per company guidance.
• Complies with health/sanitation regulations and audits.
• Follows safety policies and participates in meetings.
