Compass Group USA is seeking a Sous Chef for the new Cathay Pacific Lounge at JFK Airport. You will supervise and assist in Chinese culinary operations, develop daily authentic menus, and work with the Executive Chef to plan, prepare, and garnish dishes.

You may supervise hourly associates and help with ordering. This role offers an energetic, entrepreneurial culinary professional opportunity within Flik Hospitality Group, with potential to roll out new programs in collaboration with marketing

Formación

• A.S. or equivalent experience.
• 3 to 5 years of authentic Chinese food cuisine experience.
• High-volume, complex foodservice operations experience.
• Strong knowledge of food cost controls and presentation.
• Proficient with computers including MS Office.

Responsabilidades

• Supports Executive Chef with cost controls and expenditures.
• Assists with planning and creating menus.
• Produces and executes catering events.
• Rolls out new culinary programs with marketing and culinary teams.
