Location: Weston, Florida

I am working with an exciting and prestigious club that is expanding their team. Due to their ongoing success, they are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join their culinary team and infuse it with their creativity, passion, and ambition!

Executive Chef Responsibilities

• Lead the property’s culinary operations, ensuring the kitchen is operating smoothly and the food quality exceeds customer’s expectations
• Ensure the food is prepared, plated, and served efficiently and ensure the highest quality of service is being delivered
• Create and develop menus to reflect the restaurant concepts
• Recruit, train and manage kitchen staff
• Ensure that the kitchen is staffed appropriately
• Oversee cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment to ensure compliance with legislation
• Manage cost controls, forecasting and inventory management
• Review financial targets to ensure they are being met or exceeded

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lead others and hold your own in a fast-paced environment
• A well-rounded and motivated culinary professional who can support and inspire team members
• Detail oriented professional with excellent communication, organizational and time-management skills
• Degree in Culinary Arts is preferred
