A leading restaurant group in New York seeks a talented Executive Chef to lead their kitchen team and drive culinary excellence. This role includes overseeing operations across multiple venues, managing costs, and mentoring a dynamic culinary team while offering creative input on menu development.
We are seeking an accomplished Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team. This is a unique opportunity to drive culinary excellence across a full-service restaurant and multiple high-volume catering outlets, including group dining and rooftop events.
What You’ll Do :
Lead day-to-day kitchen operations across three kitchens in a four-story venue
Oversee recipe development, inventory, ordering, payroll, and scheduling
Manage food and labor costs through systems like Compeat and Salesforce
Develop menus with creative control over a la carte and banquet offerings
Supervise and mentor a diverse culinary team with performance evaluations and training
Ensure consistent quality and sanitation standards in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
What We’re Looking For :
5+ years of experience in Executive Chef or senior leadership role
Proven experience in both restaurant and catering environments
Deep knowledge of Italian-American cuisine
Strong attention to detail, organization, and leadership
Spanish speaking a plus
Ability to bring a trusted sous chef is welcomed
