Job summary

Durham, NC-based Elior Independent School Dining is seeking an experienced executive chef to lead our school dining program. You will oversee food production, ensure quality standards, manage recipes, and drive cost objectives while delivering healthy, delicious meals for students and guests.

As part of Elior's Independent School Dining team, you will supervise purchasing, standardize recipes, plan special events, and participate in menu development.

Qualifications

  • At least three years of progressive culinary experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft software programs.
  • Experience with budget statements.

Responsibilities

  • Supervising the quality standards and practices of the food production process, including purchasing, food specifications, meal preparation, service, and sanitation.
  • Developing standardized recipes and utilizing other production tools to ensure food quality and cost objectives are met.
  • Participating in the planning and execution of special events.

The Role at a glance:

We are looking to add an experienced, motivated executive chef for our Elior Independent School Dining team in Durham, NC. As an executive chef, you will have the opportunity to prepare delicious, healthy food for guests.
