Job summary

Elior Independent School Dining is seeking an experienced cook for a fast-paced, high-volume educational kitchen in Durham, North Carolina. You will prepare meals, present dishes creatively, and ensure proper storage while adhering to food-safety standards.

The role requires at least one year of culinary experience with scratch cooking, strong kitchen skills, and a focus on quality and customer service. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity supporting school dining programs.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of culinary experience in high-volume, scratch-focused kitchens.
• Knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques, and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer service experience is required.
