Job description

We are a busy Catering Company in the Denver Metro Area looking for an Executive Chef to join our team!

The Executive Chef oversees all activity in the kitchen, trains personnel, plans menus, oversees product purchasing and manages the culinary budget.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :

  • Managing the kitchen staff including coordinating schedules
  • Overseeing sanitation and food quality of all kitchen staff
  • Work with the Culinary Director on quality control issues
  • Managing prepared food ensuring that proper labeling and locations are enforced
  • Tasting prepared food from all areas of the kitchen regularly
  • Creating new menu concepts
  • Preparing and plating in-house tastings for clients
  • Maintaining clear communication with the sales team, catering captains, and delivery team regarding changes to events
  • Maintaining overall professionalism and ethical conduct with all clients and internal staff

Salary : $85,000 to $90,000 (OT exempt)

Experience : At least 5 years of relevant experience with kitchen management experience.

Schedule : Monday-Sunday, Day or Night (varies based on need). Must be available to work weekends.

Transportation : Reliable transportation to get to the main kitchen located in Lakewood, Colorado.
