• Provide leadership to achieve the University's mission and goals; establish department vision and objectives.
• Manage department budgets, resources, and space; supervise faculty and staff; annual evaluations.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop faculty; promote research, grants, and scholarly activity.
• Represent the department on College/University committees and in accreditation processes.
