Job summary

FairSquare, a leader in alternative finance, seeks a CFO to drive unit economics, forecasting, liquidity, and disciplined growth across multiple markets. You will partner with the President and executive team to optimize capital allocation, pricing, and funding strategies while strengthening the balance sheet.

You will own treasury, capital markets, and consolidated financial reporting across entities, leading a finance organization and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field (Master's preferred; CPA strongly preferred)
• 10+ years of progressive financial leadership in financial services, with lending/lease experience
• Deep understanding of alternative finance products and amortized assets
• Minimum 8 years leading and developing teams
• Significant cash flow management and treasury experience including lines of credit
• Syndications and asset securitization experience; strong capital markets knowledge
• Proven budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting at enterprise scale
• Experience operating in a highly regulated industry with SOC audits and FASB 13
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, leadership, writing, and communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and NetSuite

Responsibilities

• Own unit economics and forecasting for every product and channel
• Manage liquidity and treasury; negotiate lines of credit and funding arrangements
• Lead capital-raising efforts and relationships with lenders and investors
• Partner with executive team to test strategy and translate ambition into a plan
• Monitor portfolio performance, risk, reserves, and capital markets readiness
• Deliver integrated financial reporting across business units and entities
• Lead and develop a division of finance, accounting, treasury and support staff
