The Office of Administrative Hearings invites applications for the Accounting Director I (CFO) to serve as Chief Financial Officer and Manager of the Business Services section. You will oversee all fiscal functions, advise on budgets, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations as part of the agency's executive management team.

Responsibilities include leading budgeting, accounting, and IT staff; managing Medicaid funds and other grants; and coordinating with the State Controller,

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate complex financial information to senior management.
• Demonstrated knowledge of state governmental fiscal and budgetary processes.
• Experience leading and supervising a team of professionals.
• Experience interpreting and analyzing financial data and reports.
• Thorough knowledge of governmental finances, programs and fund accounting.
• Experience with state platforms such as NCFS, FIORI and IBIS.
• Experience with preparation/management of Annual Budget, ACFR, Statewide AR report and EAGLE.

• Provide fiscal leadership and budget oversight; ensure compliance with regulations.
• Supervise staff in Budgeting, Accounting and Information Technology.
• Advise on budgetary resources and legislative impact.
