UN Women is seeking a dedicated professional in New York to support the Executive Board Secretariat. You will prepare briefing notes, manage schedules, and coordinate documentation for joint intergovernmental activities, liaising with UN agencies and offices to ensure smooth operations.

The role emphasizes communications management, scheduling as well as coordinating governance processes and advisory committee work, with attention to accuracy and timely delivery.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in political sciences, social sciences, international relations, public administration, law, or human rights.
  • First-level university degree + 2 years qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of advanced degree.
  • Experience with intergovernmental coordination or UN Women is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate Executive Board Secretariat operations and scheduling.
  • Prepare briefing notes, correspondence, and meeting records.
  • Maintain records, correspondence, and institutional documentation.
  • Support communications, including website, X account, and inbox management.
  • Coordinate with DGACM and other partners on conference services and translations.
