Elite Executive Solutions is conducting a confidential search for a Director of Business Development to grow a mechanical and electrical construction organization in Albuquerque, NM. The role pays up to $250k and focuses on pursuing major opportunities and expanding market presence in the Phoenix/Arizona area.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in construction business development, ME P construction experience, and a strong Phoenix/Arizona network.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in business development or sales within construction.
• Mechanical, electrical, or MEP construction experience strongly preferred.
• Strong network in Phoenix/Arizona construction market preferred.
• Proven ability to develop relationships and generate new business opportunities.
• Excellent presentation, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies to expand presence in Phoenix and Arizona markets.
• Identify and pursue new mechanical, electrical, and MEP construction opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with general contractors, owners, developers, engineers, and other key decision-makers.
• Develop a strong pipeline of qualified project opportunities aligned with growth strategy.
• Lead client engagement from initial relationship development through project pursuit and award.
• Collaborate with estimating, preconstruction, operations, and project management teams.
• Represent the organization at industry events and client functions.
