Job summary

Roper St. Francis Healthcare seeks an Associate Vice President, Oncology to lead systemwide oncology operations and drive enterprise strategy across the Oncology IPN. This role partners with physician leaders and hospital executives to improve access, outcomes, and financial performance.

The AVP oversees radiation and medical oncology, infusion services, cancer clinics, registry oversight, and accreditation readiness, ensuring compliant operations and sustainable growth across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in business administration, public health, nursing, health administration or related fields.
• Ten or more years of hospital operations experience in a medium or large healthcare system.
• 5–7 years in hospital/oncology management; clinical trial oversight preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive oversight of oncology service line operations and growth initiatives.
• Lead systemwide oncology planning across IPN and cancer sites.
• Develop annual service line and site business plans with measurable goals.
• Oversee budgets and long‑range capital planning for cancer services.
• Allocate space, staffing, and resources to support accreditation and outcomes.
• Audit service lines for performance and implement turnaround strategies.
• Ensure accreditation readiness and regulatory compliance.
• Drive patient experience, quality metrics, and te​am engagement across oncology.
