The California High-Speed Rail Authority seeks an experienced Chief Auditor to lead audits, reviews, and evaluations of the Authority's internal controls and management practices. You will ensure compliance with applicable laws and standards, report to the Board and CEO, and guide audit strategy for complex government programs.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, knowledge of federal/state auditing standards, and ability to travel for external assessments.

Formación

• Experience with Global Internal Auditing Standards (Red Book) and Government Auditing Standards (Yellow Book).
• Knowledge of internal control and risk concepts.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-auditors.
• Experience with process development techniques.
• Willingness to travel and work away from Sacramento.
