Job Description
We are seeking an Executive Assistant (EA) to the Chief of Global Operations at Western Digital to partner closely with the executive and senior leadership team globally. You will work with the highest level of confidentiality, understanding the needs of the executive and fostering relationships across the business to deliver outcomes. You should be organized, innovative, and able to balance priorities in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility with working hours and self-management are essential. Daily in-office presence at WD’s Great Oaks office is required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Calendar Management: Organize the leaders' schedules to support group and company goals.
  2. Meeting Planning and Organization: Assist in planning internal and external meetings, team off-sites, country visits, and other events.
  3. General Inquiries: Serve as the first point of contact for inquiries into the leader’s office and refer routine matters appropriately.
  4. Correspondence/Approvals: Act as a proxy for communications and approvals where applicable.
  5. Tool Management: Manage expense reports, Statements of Work, Purchase Orders, and become proficient with WD’s internal tools such as M365, Co-Pilot, etc.
  6. Briefing Documents: Prepare briefing materials for meetings and business trips.
  7. Projects: Collaborate with stakeholders on special projects as needed.
  8. Travel: Coordinate travel arrangements for the leader.
  9. Community: Build communities to support your development and peer support across the business.

Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, SharePoint.
  • Highly organized, resourceful, and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Uphold integrity and professionalism.
