About Motion

Motion is growing fast (3x YoY), our product is sticky, and we recently raised $30M in Series B funding. We doubled our customers as well as our headcount in 2024, and have just under 60 team members.

We’re just getting started and need your help! We’ve built a new category of software to bridge the gap between performance marketers and creative teams. Our platform combines creative analytics, research, and strategy. Motion is the command center for Creative Strategists.

Our customers include top ecom and DTC brands like Vuori, True Classic, The Farmer’s Dog, HexClad, and thousands more. They’ve used Motion to analyze over $13B in media spend.

About The Role

We’re looking for our first Executive Assistant to support our CEO, Reza Khadjavi, and the broader leadership team as a strategic thought partner. This role goes beyond calendar management by anticipating needs, driving execution, and coordinating between leadership and the organization. If you're proactive, solutions-oriented, and eager to impact one of Canada’s fastest-growing tech companies, we’d love to meet you!

In This Role, You Will
  • Own and manage the CEO’s calendar, communications, and priorities with speed, precision, and discretion
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings with internal and external stakeholders across time zones, including investors, team members, and candidates
  • Draft, edit, and organize documents, slide decks, and email correspondence on behalf of the CEO
  • Support the preparation and logistics for board meetings, company all-hands, and other high-impact moments
  • Plan and execute key events such as leadership offsites, executive sessions, team gatherings, and external engagements
  • Act as a liaison between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders, fostering strong relationships
  • Track follow-ups and action items across the leadership team to keep priorities moving
  • Stay ahead of changing priorities, adapting quickly in our fast-moving environment
Your Background Looks Something Like
  • 5+ years supporting a founder, CEO, or senior executive in a fast-paced tech startup
  • Highly organized and efficient, with a knack for bringing order to chaos
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive, anticipating needs before they arise
  • Strong multitasking ability, remaining composed under pressure
  • Comfortable with tools like Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, and Zoom
