Job summary

The Supervisory Health System Specialist - Executive Assistant to the Network Director serves within the Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) Headquarters Unit, functioning as a principal administrative, operational, and program management resource supporting the Network Director and VISN executive leadership.

To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date, including Time-In-Grade requirements and specialized experience in health care administration

Qualifications

• One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade (GS-13).
• Experience in health care delivery systems, regulations, and credentialing standards.
• Knowledge of administration laws, budget, personnel, and procurement in health care settings.
