Responsibilities
  • Provide proactive, professional, strategic executive support to Chief and Vice President level leaders.
  • Anticipate needs, manage priorities and coordinate high-level projects through timely and accurate completion.
  • Serve as a trusted partner and liaison between the executive and key stakeholders including direct reports, senior leadership, board members, community donors, and external partners.
  • Prepare high‑quality correspondence, reports, presentations, screens and prioritize calls and communications.
  • Manage complex calendars and support the overall operational and strategic effectiveness of the executive office.
  • Operate with limited supervision, exercising independent judgment, problem‑solving and strategic thinking in the execution of duties.
  • Support governance work of the Board of Directors and Board Committees under the direction of the Chief Legal Officer.
  • Maintain all corporate governance records, ensuring meeting minutes, resolutions and other board records are complete and available for inspection.
  • Familiarity with corporate bylaws and other governing documents; prepare, assemble and securely distribute board books and materials.
  • Plan and coordinate the governance calendar; draft Board and committee meeting minutes and oversee the review and approval cycle.
  • Administer the board portal (e.g., Diligent) and user access, and maintain member rosters, attendance records, conflict of interest disclosures, term/committee assignments, onboarding materials and governance education records.
  • Support the Chief Legal Officer in preparing board resolutions, bylaws amendments and other documents for board action.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in an executive office or law firm supporting top‑level executives or attorneys.
  • Corporate governance experience required.
  • High school education or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree OR paralegal degree OR equivalent combination (one year of education equals one year of experience) required.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) required.

  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with management, staff, physicians and other stakeholders.
  • Professionalism, business judgment, tact and diplomacy.
  • Candidate must live in Nebraska or Iowa.
  • This is not a hybrid position; 100% on campus.
  • Resume required for consideration.
