Job description

Executive Assistant - (Fandango, GolfNow, and GolfPass)
  • Full-time
  • Business Segment: Digital Platforms & Ventures
  • Compensation: USD 28.84 - USD 33.65 - hourly

VERSANT (Nasdaq: VSNT) is an industry-changing media and entertainment business and home to trusted brands that shape culture, inform audiences, and build lasting connections. It operates across four core markets: political news and opinion, business news and personal finance, golf, and sports and genre entertainment. These markets are served through a powerful portfolio of iconic and innovative brands, including CNBC, MS NOW, USA Network, Golf Channel, Oxygen, E!, SYFY, and Versant's sports division USA Sports, along with complementary digital assets including Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow and GolfPass.

The Opportunity:

VERSANT is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and resourceful Executive Assistant to provide administrative and operational support to two senior leaders: the SVPs of Fandango Marketing & Partnerships and DTC Services & Portfolio Marketing.

In this role, you will serve as a trusted administrative partner to both executives, helping manage competing priorities, coordinate complex schedules, facilitate communications, and support the effective operation of their respective teams.

The ideal candidate demonstrates exceptional judgment, discretion, attention to detail, and the ability to anticipate needs while navigating a dynamic, fast-paced business environment.

Why This Role Matters

This position plays an important role in enabling two senior leaders to focus on strategic priorities, business partnerships, marketing initiatives, and organizational goals.

By creating structure, facilitating communication, and ensuring seamless coordination across both offices, you will help strengthen operational effectiveness and support collaboration across VERSANT's digital services, marketing, and partnership functions.

Success in this role requires a service-oriented mindset, strong ownership of responsibilities, and the ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide high-level executive support: Manage complex calendars, coordinate meetings and travel arrangements including domestic and multi-time zone travel logistics, handle expenses, anticipate scheduling conflicts, and balance competing priorities across two senior executive offices.
  • Serve as a trusted liaison: Act as a primary administrative point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, facilitating professional, timely, and effective communication with senior leaders and cross-functional partners that represents the executives and teams well.
  • Coordinate executive meetings and events: Organize internal and external partner and client meeting logistics (including, when necessary, catering, IT, AV or other team summit logistical needs), prepare and distribute materials, coordinate audiovisual and video conferencing needs, and manage related arrangements to support productive executive engagements.
  • Drive administrative and operational excellence: Maintain organized files, documents, project tracking tools, support presentation creation, manage team subscriptions, periodic meeting notes, and office resources while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and accessibility.
  • Support business initiatives and special projects: Provide administrative and coordination support for marketing, partnerships, and DTC-related initiatives, including preliminary research, information gathering, and follow-up on assigned action items.
  • Strengthen cross-functional collaboration: Partner with administrative colleagues, business teams, and external partners to coordinate shared priorities, provide backup support when needed, and help ensure continuity across both executive offices.

What You Bring:

  • Minimum of two years of professional experience, preferably supporting senior executives or leadership teams and supporting executives across multiple times zones with distinct work styles.
  • Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple calendars, shifting priorities, and competing deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence and professionalism to interact with senior executives and external stakeholders.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, sound judgment, and demonstrated discretion when handling confidential or sensitive information.
  • Ability to work independently, anticipate executive needs, solve problems proactively, and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong initiative and follow-through, with the ability to identify problems, propose solutions, and complete work with minimal supervision; flexibility with work hours when business needs require it.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, service-oriented approach to supporting multiple teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel, Adobe, Keynote, and SAP; familiarity with standard office equipment.

How We Do It at VERSANT

We value colleagues who demonstrate our core behaviors through their everyday work:

  • Trust: Handle confidential information with integrity, exercise sound judgment, and build dependable relationships with executives and colleagues.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate effectively across both executive offices, support colleagues, and contribute to shared organizational success.
  • Transparency: Communicate proactively, provide timely updates, and maintain clarity around schedules, priorities, and commitments.
  • Agility: Navigate changing priorities, adjust quickly to evolving business needs, and remain effective under pressure.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: Take initiative, anticipate needs, identify process improvements, and bring resourcefulness and accountability to daily responsibilities.

Bonus Points

  • Experience providing administrative support to multiple senior executives simultaneously.
  • Previous experience in media, entertainment, digital platforms, marketing, technology, agency or partnerships.
  • Familiarity with calendar management, travel coordination, presentation software, and project management tools.
