Job description

#WeAreParamount on a mission to unleash the power of content… you in?
We’ve got the brands, we’ve got the stars, we’ve got the power to achieve our mission to entertain the planet – now all we’re missing is… YOU! Becoming a part of Paramount means joining a team of passionate people who not only recognize the power of content but also enjoy a touch of fun and uniqueness. Together, we co-create moments that matter – both for our audiences and our employees – and aim to leave a positive mark on culture.

Overview:

The Executive Assistant, Design is a trusted partner to the EVP, Head of Design and provides senior-level administrative support to 1-2 of her direct reports, enabling the Design leadership team to focus on creative and strategic priorities. This role manages complex calendars, coordinates travel and events, and handles sensitive organizational information with sound judgment and discretion. The EA operates under general supervision, exercising independent judgment on day-to-day prioritization and escalating higher-stakes or sensitive matters to the EVP.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Manage complex, high-volume calendars for the EVP and her direct reports, proactively resolving scheduling conflicts and prioritizing time against evolving business needs
  • Coordinate all domestic and international travel logistics and expense reporting for the Design leadership team, and lead planning and on-the-ground logistics for offsites and team collaboration events
  • Execute expense management activities with minimal guidance
  • Assess and advocate for office space needs with minimal guidance
  • Serve as a key point of contact between the EVP’s office and stakeholders across Product & Technology, HR, Legal, Finance, and external vendors/partners, independently determining what can be handled directly versus what requires escalation
  • Partner with other Product & Technology executive assistants to coordinate cross-organization initiatives and provide backup coverage for one another as needed
  • Support onboarding logistics for new hires into the Design organization
  • Lead or support ad hoc special projects as assigned by the EVP
Basic Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience supporting a senior executive (VP level or above), ideally within a creative, design, product, or technology organization
  • Proven ability to manage complex, fast-changing calendars and competing priorities with sound judgment and minimal oversight
  • Extensive experience coordinating domestic and international travel arrangements and managing expense reporting
  • High proficiency with Google Workspace; comfortable adopting new productivity and AI tools
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with senior executives, creative talent, and external partners
  • Demonstrated discretion and professionalism in handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Experience planning and executing team offsites and events, including vendor and logistics coordination
Additional Qualifications:
  • Prior experience supporting a Design, UX, Creative, or Product leader or organization
  • Experience in media, entertainment, or technology industries
  • Familiarity with Paramount’s internal systems (e.g., Oracle Fusion)
  • Experience supporting or coordinating across multiple executives/leaders concurrently
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
