Job summary

Paramount’s Consumer Products Creative Studio seeks a seasoned designer to shape how big ideas are told—through decks, graphics, and motion that translate strategy into visuals. You’ll craft executive slides, visual systems, and engaging video content for cross‑functional teams.

You’ll contribute to style guides, push design judgment, and grow into new tools while collaborating with art direction, senior designers, and external partners in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional design experience across presentation, graphic design, motion, video, or related work.

Responsibilities

• Develop executive presentations, Property Snapshots, keynote content, and strategic storytelling decks from concept through polished final slides
• Create layouts, diagrams, icons, image treatments, and other visual assets that make complex ideas clear and memorable
• Edit video, prepare selects or simple assemblies, and create light motion graphics and presentation animation in Adobe After Effects or equivalent tools
• Support style-guide design, visual systems, and other high-priority design assignments while maintaining the Studio’s presentation and video focus
• Partner closely with the Senior Designer, Art Director, and Creative Producer; incorporate feedback thoughtfully and expand creative and technical range

Overview:

As Designer for the Consumer Products Creative Studio, you’ll shape how the business’s biggest ideas get told — through decks, graphics, and motion that bring strategy to life. Presentations and video are your primary disciplines: developing slides and visual systems, creating supporting graphics, editing video, and building light motion work in Adobe After Effects.
Reporting to the Art Director, you’ll work closely with them and the Senior Designer, with regular exposure to Franchise, Licensing, Marketing, and external creative partners — and you’ll flex into style-guide design and other priority creative work as the Studio’s needs shift. What matters most here isn’t a narrow skill set, but sound design judgment and the willingness to grow into new tools and formats.

Basic Qualifications:

• 3+ years of relevant professional design experience across presentation, graphic design, motion, video, or related work
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Keynote and/or PowerPoint, with working capability in video editing and light motion in Adobe After Effects

Additional Qualifications:

• Strong portfolio demonstrating presentation design, graphic design, and visual storytelling
• Strong typography, layout, composition, and production-detail skills across presentation and supporting design work
• Curious, collaborative, adaptable, and motivated to grow within a fast-moving multidisciplinary creative studio
• Curiosity and comfort experimenting with company-approved AI-assisted tools for visual research, image generation, design exploration, presentations, motion, and emerging video workflows

Additional Information

Hiring Salary Range: $64,000.00 - 85,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
