Job summary

The American Red Cross seeks an experienced Executive Assistant to provide high-level, confidential support to executive leadership. You will manage calendars, coordinate travel, prepare materials, and represent leadership in meetings with stakeholders.

You will apply sound judgment, coordinate HR activities, and guide volunteers while upholding organizational policies. This remote role offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 7 years of related experience.
  • Experience supporting executive-level leadership.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams).

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the executive's calendar, including meetings, travel, and visits to field or operating units.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and prepare meeting agendas.
  • Prepare presentations, memos, reports, and correspondence for signature.
  • Review correspondence for policy alignment.
  • Conduct research and support strategic initiatives.
  • Screen and prioritize calls for the executive and follow up.
  • Coordinate office activities and communications for the executive.

Prepare and summarize information to support decision-making, manage communications and office operations, and represent the executive or leadership team in meetings and interactions with stakeholders. Coordinate administrative, logistical, and human resources activities while exercising sound judgment and discretion in handling sensitive information. Apply comprehensive knowledge of organizational policies and procedures to support business objectives and provide guidance and leadership to volunteers. ***Responsibilities*** * Maintain the executive's calendar, including meetings, appointments, travel, and visits to field or operating units.* Coordinate travel arrangements and prepare agendas for meetings. May assist in planning and coordinating high-level meetings for which the executive's office is responsible.* Prepare presentations, memos, reports, and correspondence for the executive's signature or on behalf of the executive.* Review correspondence to ensure consistency with organizational policies and practices.* Conduct research and perform analytical tasks related to operational issues and strategic initiatives.
