Job summary

United Airlines is seeking an Executive Assistant to provide advanced administrative support to one or more leaders within Inflight Services. You will manage correspondence, travel itineraries, calendars, and events with professionalism and discretion.

The role requires 3–5 years of admin experience, strong MS Office skills, excellent communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, including handling confidential information and coordinating with multiple departments.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 3 - 5 years of administrative or executive support experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and calendar management systems)
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize deadlines, work independently, and work flexible hours.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities, attention to details, and problem-solving skills.
  • Professional demeanor and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong ability to anticipate needs and take initiative.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification.
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing general correspondence, memoranda, expense reports, etc.
  • Provide assistance with coordinating division/companywide events
  • Screening telephone calls and visitors; may screen e-mail correspondence
  • Schedule and maintain calendar of appointments, meetings, and travel itineraries
  • Complete projects as assigned and handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision
  • Interface with all departments within the company and represent leadership team professionally
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers

Job Overview and Responsibilities

The base pay range for this role is $45,030.00 to $58,656.00.

The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education and skills. This position may also be eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
