Job summary

The Edge Group, a Christ-centered nonprofit organization in Brookshire, Texas, is seeking a proactive Executive Assistant to support its CEO and COO. Our client, a Christ-centered nonprofit organization dedicated to serving adults with disabilities, is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and relationship-driven Executive Assistant to support the CEO and COO. We are seeking a polished professional with strong executive support experience who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. Responsibilities
  • Managing executive calendars, meetings, travel, and correspondence
  • Preparing presentations, reports, agendas, and board materials
  • Coordinating Board of Directors logistics and communications
  • Recording meeting minutes and ensuring follow-up on action items
  • Supporting special events, donor activities, and organizational initiatives
  • Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion
  • Assisting with process improvements and administrative efficiencies
  • Utilizing technology and AI tools to enhance productivity and executive operations
  • Anticipating leadership needs and proactively managing priorities and deadlines
Requirements
  • 3–5+ years of Executive Assistant experience supporting C-suite or senior leadership
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office proficiency, including PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Experience with SharePoint or similar systems preferred
  • Strong emotional intelligence, and the ability to interact confidently with executives, board members, donors, staff, and community members
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, resourceful, and able to anticipate needs while managing multiple priorities with discretion and professionalism
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment
  • Experience in nonprofit, ministry, healthcare, or mission-driven environments strongly preferred
  • Comfortable learning and utilizing emerging technologies and AI tools
