Job summary

Kiewit Nuclear Solutions is seeking an Area Manager / Vice President, Field Operations to provide executive leadership and accountability for EPC construction projects across development and execution phases. This role serves as the primary off-project leader, coordinating with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure disciplined execution and safety excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, business, or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of EPC project execution experience, including leadership of large, complex projects.
• Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams and influence executive-level decision-making.
• Strong financial acumen and experience managing project P&L performance.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational leadership skills.
• Ability to travel at least two weeks out of the month and as required to support project and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership and accountability for a portfolio of EPC construction projects.
• Serve as the primary off-project leader for clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure projects are appropriately prioritized, resourced, and aligned with organizational objectives.
• Oversee project governance, risk management, and resolution of complex or escalated issues.
• Provide financial oversight and accountability for project P&L performance.
• Establish organizational structures and resolve cross-project resource constraints.
• Ensure compliance with corporate safety, quality, and people management standards.
• Engage with project teams to proactively identify risks, resolve challenges, and implement strategic solutions.
• Mentor and develop project leadership to build organizational capability and succession.
