Job summary

Samsung Research America is seeking an experienced executive assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support to the executive team in Mountain View, CA. The role includes complex scheduling, travel arrangements, meeting materials, and office coordination in a fast-paced tech environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of high-tech or similar experience, a BA degree, and fluency in English and Korean.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily administrative support to the executive: manage complex scheduling, agendas, email, calls, travel arrangements, and other company logistics.
  • Assist in meeting and workshop scheduling and prepare meeting materials such as confirmations, welcome packets, final document mailings, name badges, and signage.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
  • Provide administrative support to the team: supervise general office duties such as ordering supplies, office facilities management, and shipping/receiving of orders.
  • Assist in office event planning and coordination.
  • Assist with new hire/dispatcher onboarding preparation: ordering phone, laptop, business card, name plate, desk assignment, etc.
  • Respond to miscellaneous requests from the teams.

Required Experience and Education
  • 5+ years of professional experience in high‑tech companies, media companies or information centers preferred but not required.
  • BA degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Fluency in English and Korean required.
  • Computer/IT/Microsoft Office fluency required.

The base pay range for roles at this level is listed below, but may be higher or lower in other states due to geographic differentials in the labor market. Within the base pay range, individual rates depend on a number of factors—including the role’s function and location as well as the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, education, and training. This is part of our comprehensive compensation package with annual bonus eligibility and generous benefits to help you live life well.

Base Pay Range: $72,000 - $80,000 USD

Essential Job Functions

This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, and frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
