Job summary

The Kresge Foundation is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the Managing Director, Program Officers, and other team members. This role requires professional, customer-service oriented interaction with grantees, consultants, and the public, and demands initiative, attention to detail, and a collaborative work style.

Responsibilities include calendar and travel management, meeting support, document preparation, and expense processing.

Qualifications

  • Associates degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3–5 years of professional administrative office experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven calendar management and travel arrangements.
  • Proven proofreading and document preparation.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.

Responsibilities

  • Manage calendars for three team members, including scheduling and changes.
  • Schedule and organize internal and external meetings, convenings, and events.
  • Greet visitors and manage staff access to the foundation.
  • Attend meetings, document minutes, and prepare briefing materials.
  • Prepare correspondence and Excel charts, manage contacts and distribution lists.
  • Process department expenses and prepare expense reports.
