Job summary

Desert Mountain Club, located in North Scottsdale, Arizona, seeks a Director of Administration to partner with the CEO and Board of Directors. This role ensures effective governance, executive operations, and confidential handling of critical information within a premier private club.

You will manage governance activities, board communications, and leadership support in a fast-paced environment while supervising administrative staff and driving process improvements across the organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of executive administrative, executive assistant, or senior administrative experience.
• Experience supporting executive leadership in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive administrative support to the CEO, Board of Directors, Board Committees, and senior leadership.
• Manage the CEO's calendar, travel, meetings, and executive correspondence.
• Coordinate Board meetings, executive retreats, and special events.
• Prioritize executive communications and identify issues requiring leadership attention.
• Maintain confidential executive, governance, and organizational records.
• Develop presentations, reports, agendas, and meeting materials.
• Supervise and mentor administrative staff to ensure consistent support and professional development.
