NIKA is hiring for an Executive Action Officer to support the Defense Health Agency’s (DHA) Facilities organization in San Antonio, TX. The role will sit onsite.

TheExecutive Action Officerserves as the central point of coordination for executive-level taskers, correspondence, congressional inquiries, leadership requests, and organizational actions supporting DHA Facilities. This position manages actions from receipt through final approval and closeout, ensuring requirements are accurately assigned, coordinated, tracked, staffed, and completed within established deadlines.
The Executive Action Officer works closely with senior leaders, branch chiefs, division leadership, subject matter experts, and executive staff to develop high-quality leadership products, coordinate responses, identify risks, and maintain visibility of organizational priorities.
- Serve as thecentralized point of contactfor executive taskers, correspondence, congressional inquiries, leadership requests, and staffing actions.
- Manage and track incoming and outgoing actions usingCATMS, ETMS, or comparable task-management systems.
- Coordinate responses and information gathering from subject matter experts, managers, branch chiefs, division leadership, and executive staff.
- Draft and coordinateDepartment of War correspondence, executive memoranda, response packages, reports, briefing materials, talking points, and leadership products.
- Monitor suspense dates and proactively follow up with responsible organizations to ensure timely completion of actions.
- Maintain comprehensive visibility of actions throughout the staffing and approval process.
- Consolidate contributions from multiple offices into accurate, concise, and cohesive executive-level products.
- Conduct quality-control reviews foraccuracy, completeness, consistency, grammar, formatting, and compliance with organizational requirements.
- Prepare executive review and approval packages for senior leadership.
- Identify potential delays, risks, conflicts, and resource issues and provide leadership with recommended courses of action.
- Develop and maintain organizational knowledge-management repositories, reference materials, and communication products.
- Developdashboards, metrics, workload reports, and leadership tracking toolsto improve organizational visibility and workload management.
- Support strategic communications regarding DHA Facilities initiatives, accomplishments, priorities, and organizational performance.
- Assist with synchronization of DHA Facilities meetings, events, briefings, and executive priorities.
- Support strategic planning initiatives, business process improvements, and other senior leadership priorities.
- Maintain organized records and documentation to support future inquiries, audits, reporting requirements, and leadership decision-making.
Requirements
- Must be US Citizen
- Must be eligible to obtain security clearance
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimumfive years of experiencesupporting a 3-star or SES-equivalent staff, military strategic planning organization, Department of War, Joint organization, or Service-equivalent organization.

- Proficiency withCATMS, ETMS, or similar task-management systems.
- Ability to manage multiple high-priority actions, competing deadlines, and senior-level requirements simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to document quality and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively with senior leaders and multidisciplinary teams.
