Job summary

Quantech Services Inc. seeks a senior acquisition and program management professional to provide expertise in DoD 5000.2 compliant processes. You will develop and implement directorate and division workflows, review acquisition documentation and reports, and support cost/schedule baselines.

A Secret clearance is required, and extensive DoD experience is essential to succeed. The role involves coordinating with program offices, stakeholders, and industry to address warfighter capability gaps,

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree with 15 years of experience in relevant DoD discipline (5 in DoD) or BA/BS with 20 years of related DoD experience and proper certifications.
  • Secret clearance required.
  • Proficient in SharePoint and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work independently.

Job description

  • The Candidate shall have comprehensive knowledge and understanding of principles, policies and practices of systems acquisition and program management, as defined in DoDI 5000.2, as well as knowledge of roles and relationships within the DoD and the Air Force to provide strategic and tactical program planning (short-term, mid-term, and long-term plans) in furthering system mission capabilities.
  • The Candidate shall establish and implement Directorate and Division processes to ensure efficient review, coordination, and approval for all directorate/division tasks, briefings, acquisition documentation, acquisition reporting, and organizational management.
  • The Candidate will be responsible for creating/providing analysis of acquisition documents, reports (MARs, PEO Activity, DAES, etc.) to ensure they are correct and consistent across programs with specific program data directed by leadership.
  • The Candidate shall assist the program manager in assessing what is within schedule and cost baselines, be able to recommend viable solutions to problems, and pursue alternative courses of action.
  • The Candidate must be able to plan, research, analyze and assess system acquisition in terms of development, production, and deployment of weapons systems and associated equipment and develop plans and recommend innovative and effective strategies in meeting cost, schedule, and performance objectives.
  • The Candidate plans, schedules and facilitates a variety of exchanges and meetings with the program office team, stakeholders, and industry to understand program requirements and emerging commercial technologies which may address warfighter capability gaps.
  • The Candidate shall formulate, recommend, and draft the proper acquisition strategy and associated statutory and regulatory acquisition documentations in a timely and effective manner.
  • The Candidate will support all Acquisition Strategy reviews, develop supporting documentation, and support the Government in development and review of draft Request for Proposal (RFP) documents and RFP documents.
  • The Candidate shall support program management reviews, senior level meeting/reviews and IMP/IMS reviews; support and develop various briefings/schedules of program status and acquisition tasks to senior management.
  • The Candidate shall analyze program operations and provide/execute approved process improvement initiatives. JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Possess the ability to work independently and apply the proper procedures and processes related to their assigned tasks.
  • Possess strong communication skills and utilize those skills to build relationships with supported customers.
  • Experience with SharePoint to include managing, uploading, and editing program data and files. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Master’s degree with 15 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, of which 5 must be in the DoD, or BA/BS with 20 years of directly related experience with proper certifications, of which 8 must be in the DoD. We hire Military! Salary information: Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as business and market considerations. Salary Range: $130,000-$140,000 Security clearance required
