Job summary

GSK in the United States (Massachusetts locations) seeks an Executive Director for Oncology Clinical Pharmacology Modeling and Simulation. Lead CPMS strategy, influence trial design and regulatory submissions while guiding a multi-disciplinary team.

You will bridge preclinical and clinical pharmacology, develop PBPK/PKPD approaches, and collaborate with R&D partners to accelerate oncology programs. On-site 2–3 days/week; strong leadership required.

Qualifications

• PhD and 15+ years in biotech/pharma preferred.
• Extensive experience in drug development functions (Nonclinical & Clinical).
• Leadership of matrix teams and external partners.
• Strong PK/PD data analysis and modeling expertise.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical and product development support for Oncology programs.
• Manage CPMS managers/directors and apply PK/PD/MS principles to development.
• Bridge to clinical pharmacology and modeling/simulation in studies.
• Design and propose CP studies (e.g., rBA/BE, DDI, special populations).
• Develop modeling strategies including PBPK to support trial design.
• Lead authorship of regulatory dossier sections and engage with regulators.
• Participate in regulatory meetings and implement best CPMS practices.
• Coordinate cross-functional outputs to shape 18–24 month strategy.
• Identify and develop talent, coaching future CPMS leaders.
• Advise on PK/PD data analysis and external collaborations.
