Job summary

Horace Mann invites motivated professionals to join as Exclusive Insurance Agents. You will operate with 1099 compensation, focusing on educating clients, building an exclusive territory, and growing your independent agency with strong support and new technology.

You’ll leverage a multiline product portfolio and market-building programs to foster relationships, expand your reach, and drive sustainable income while serving educators and their families.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and business management skills to build and manage your agency to success.
• 2-5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry (preferred).
• Resident State General Lines Insurance Licenses: Life and Health Insurance License; Property and Casualty License.
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 & 63 licenses (if applicable in your region).

Responsibilities

• Achieve market access and build strong relationships with clients.
