Job summary

Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Insurance Agent to build and manage your own agency within an exclusive territory. This independent contractor role offers performance-based compensation and a comprehensive product portfolio to meet educators’ insurance and financial needs.

You will focus on building relationships, presenting products to individuals and groups, and engaging with communities and events. A valid state license is required and conditions may include obtaining FINRA licenses where

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and business management skills to build and manage your agency.
• 2-5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry (preferred).
• Resident State General Lines Insurance Licenses.
• Life and Health Insurance License.
• Property and Casualty Insurance License.
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 & 63 licenses (if applicable in your region).
