Job summary
Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Insurance Agent to help educators achieve affordable insurance solutions and financial security. You will build relationships, present products to groups and individuals, and pursue community and industry networking opportunities.
The role offers a 1099, performance-based compensation with incentives and a dedicated service team, plus an exclusive territory designed to maximize opportunities in a no-office required setup for up to two years.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and business management skills.
- 2–5 years experience in the insurance and financial services industry (preferred).
- Active insurance licenses as listed (Life, Health, P&C).
- FINRA Series 6 & 63 licenses (if applicable in your region).
Responsibilities
- Identify and implement affordable insurance solutions and financial security for educators.
- Build market access and strong relationships with clients.
- Confidently present products to groups and individuals.
- Engage in networking, community, and industry events.
- Invest time and resources to ensure long-term business success.
