Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited is seeking an engineer to provide Tier 3/Tier 4 operational support for Microsoft 365 messaging, including Exchange Online and Outlook. The role emphasizes incident troubleshooting, service health, mailbox administration, and mail-flow hygiene.

The candidate will work with Proofpoint and Defender for Office 365, participate in on-call rotations, and contribute to automation and documentation. Located in Plano, TX with on-site responsibilities.

Qualifications

Must have Tier 3/4 operational support for Exchange Online including incident response and root-cause analysis.
Administer mailboxes with permissions, delegation, and access reviews.
Troubleshoot mail-flow issues, including NDRs, delays, connectors, and transport rules.
Support Outlook (Classic and New Outlook) issues including profiles, shared mailboxes, and calendars.
Operate email security controls such as Proofpoint and Defender for Office 365, including quarantine reviews and escalation.
Use PowerShell for Exchange Online and Microsoft 365 administrative tasks and automation.
Support Microsoft 365 Apps servicing and deployment in coordination with endpoint teams.

Responsibilities

Provide Tier 3/Tier 4 operational support for Exchange Online, Outlook, and related services.
Focus on incident troubleshooting, service health, and mailbox administration.
Drive automation and improve processes through runbooks and knowledge articles.
