Ck Specialty is a managing general agent and surplus lines broker specializing in hard-to-insure businesses and homes. We are a fast-growing organization seeking a licensed, sales-driven Production Underwriter/Broker to join our expanding team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and outreach; establish and maintain relationships with retail agents and carrier partners; cross-sell and upsell insurance products.
2. Underwriting & Risk Analysis: Analyze, underwrite, and price risks ensuring profitability and compliance; provide tailored coverage solutions; negotiate terms with carriers.
3. Client & Account Management: Maintain and grow a profitable book of business; respond to customer needs; follow up on binding, quoting, and servicing requests.
4. Market & Industry Engagement: Stay informed on market trends and regulations; leverage insights to advise clients on coverage options.

Qualifications & Skills

• Required: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance License; experience in insurance production, underwriting, or brokering; proven sales success; strong analytical, relationship-building, and negotiation skills; self-motivated; organizational skills; high school diploma required.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree; existing book of business or industry connections; experience working remotely.
