Qualifications

• Sixty (60) academic credit hours from an accredited institution
• An associate degree (or higher)
• High School Diploma or the equivalent
• Ready to Work Credentials
• WIN Assessment – minimum of Level 3 certification
• ParaPro – minimum passing score 456 on ParaPro, the state approved academic assessment

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom teaching assistance
• Provide supervision of students at all times
• Provide students with daily care (e.g. toileting, diapering, feeding) as needed or required
• Adhere to district dress code policies
• Maintain required confidentiality in regard to students and school records
• Positively supports all facets of student growth and development
• Must be able to lift a minimum of fifty pounds
• Perform other duties as assigned
